Policy Statement

Dampsafe Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all aspects of our business and supply chain.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking. Dampsafe Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business relationships.

Although Dampsafe Ltd is not legally required to publish a Modern Slavery Statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 due to company size, we recognise the importance of ensuring that modern slavery does not occur within our operations or supply chain.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All employees

  • Contractors and subcontractors

  • Suppliers and service providers

  • Any other parties engaged by Dampsafe Ltd

All parties working with or on behalf of Dampsafe Ltd are expected to uphold the principles of this policy.

Our Commitment

Dampsafe Ltd is committed to:

• Ensuring fair and lawful working conditions for all employees and subcontractors.
• Carrying out appropriate checks on subcontractors and suppliers where applicable.
• Ensuring workers are employed voluntarily and are free to leave employment.
• Maintaining transparency in business practices.
• Taking appropriate action if modern slavery risks are identified.

Supply Chain

Dampsafe Ltd operates primarily within the domestic housing sector. Where subcontractors or suppliers are engaged, reasonable steps are taken to ensure they operate in compliance with relevant employment laws and ethical working standards.

Suppliers and subcontractors are expected to:

• Comply with all applicable labour laws.
• Ensure workers are not subject to forced labour or exploitation.
• Provide safe and lawful working conditions.

Reporting Concerns

Any concerns relating to modern slavery, exploitation or unethical working practices should be reported immediately to the Director.

Dampsafe Ltd will investigate concerns promptly and take appropriate action where necessary.

Responsibility

The Director of Dampsafe Ltd has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy is implemented and adhered to across the business.

Review

This policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains appropriate and effective.
