A third party health and safety assessment is different from an individual surveyor qualification. ICO fee registration is different from data protection compliance. Operational training supports delivery but should not be presented as independent accreditation.

This page separates those categories clearly so procurement teams can understand what the evidence demonstrates and where current verification is still required.

Live certificates, insurance schedules and contract specific documentation can be supplied directly during onboarding or mobilisation.

SafeContractor approval

Independently assessed health and safety arrangements

Dampsafe holds SafeContractor approval following assessment against the scheme’s applicable health and safety requirements. It supports supplier prequalification but does not remove the client’s responsibility for proportionate due diligence and contract specific checks.

Damp and mould surveying qualifications

Qualified assessment within a defined technical scope

Dampsafe compliance surveys are completed by appropriately qualified surveyors, including surveyors holding the ABBE Level 3 Award in Damp, Mould and Condensation in Buildings.

The qualification supports structured assessment of moisture, ventilation, condensation and building related factors, with reasoned findings and practical recommendations.

Data protection registration

Property and resident information handled through practical controls

Dampsafe is listed on the Information Commissioner’s Office register of data protection fee payers under reference ZC101027. Work may involve addresses, resident information, photographs, reports and client case information.
