Dampsafe has been appointed as a successful supplier to the South East Consortium (SEC) Repairs and Maintenance Dynamic Market under Lot 4: Damp and Mould.

The appointment was completed on 12 August 2026 following Dampsafe's successful application and the execution of the Dynamic Market Agreement.

SEC's Dynamic Market provides housing providers and other publicly funded organisations with a route to procure repair and maintenance services across England. Lot 4 covers the investigation, remediation and treatment of damp and mould in residential properties.

"Being recognised by the South East Consortium is a wonderful milestone for the entire Dampsafe team. Connecting with an organisation that represents over 65 members and a massive portfolio of 466,000 homes shows just how critical the demand for reliable services is right now. We know how stressful damp and mould challenges can be for both landlords and residents. We’re looking forward to working hand-in-hand with SEC members, combining our evidence-led compliance with a genuinely warm, supportive service that puts people first.”

Angela Taylor Managing Director, Dampsafe

Continued recognition of specialist, resident-focused delivery

For Dampsafe, the appointment continues a period of recognition for its specialist damp and mould service, its attention to detail and its supportive, considerate approach to vulnerable residents in their own homes.

What the appointment means

The appointment creates a further route for Dampsafe to compete for contracts that match its specialist capability, geographical coverage and delivery capacity.

Eligible to compete

Housing providers and other eligible organisations can use the Dynamic Market to run further competitions for relevant repairs and maintenance requirements.

Each opportunity considered separately

Appointment does not itself award a contract or guarantee a volume of work. Dampsafe will assess the scope, location and delivery requirements of each opportunity before deciding whether to bid.

Specialist support in occupied homes

Dampsafe's approach combines practical damp and mould delivery with clear evidence, resident consideration and appropriate escalation where treatment alone will not resolve the wider problem.

Damp and mould investigation and compliance surveys
Specialist remediation in occupied homes
Urgent and vulnerable-household response
Photographic evidence and structured reporting
Identification and escalation of contributing conditions
Regional and multi-property programmes

An important step in Dampsafe's development

The SEC appointment strengthens Dampsafe's procurement readiness while allowing the company to assess future opportunities carefully and maintain the delivery standards expected by residents, housing providers and principal contractors.

Dampsafe's work in occupied homes is built around a clear record of the conditions found, the work completed and anything requiring repair, further investigation or follow-on action.
