Dampsafe has been shortlisted in two categories at the ASCP26 Safety & Compliance Awards, organised by the Association of Safety and Compliance Professionals (ASCP). Together, the categories reflect the company’s specialist technical focus and the personal, responsive service it provides to housing teams and residents.
Best Response to Awaab’s Law Award
This shortlisting recognises Dampsafe’s practical support for social landlords responding to damp and mould. The service combines specialist assessment or remediation with photographic evidence, structured reporting and clear escalation where repair, further investigation or wider action is required. The landlord remains responsible for hazard classification and its overall statutory response.
Best SME Supplier to the Social Housing Sector
This finalist place reflects the responsiveness and close client support that a specialist SME can provide. Dampsafe works with housing providers and principal contractors to understand the instruction, communicate clearly, support vulnerable households and retain consistent reporting as regional delivery develops.
Dampsafe has been shortlisted as a finalist in both categories. The winners will be announced at the ASCP26 Awards ceremony on 8 September 2026 at ICC Newport.
What the recognition represents
Continued recognition of specialist, client-focused work
The ASCP26 shortlist continues a period of industry recognition for Dampsafe’s specialist damp and mould service and the care taken over the detail of each instruction.
The company’s approach is built around listening to the client, recording the conditions found and returning clear evidence of what was completed and what still needs attention. That structure supports housing teams managing individual cases, urgent instructions and wider programmes.
Client focus also means recognising that the work takes place in someone’s home. Residents may be anxious, vulnerable or managing health, access or communication needs. Dampsafe teams are expected to explain the visit clearly, work respectfully and raise concerns promptly where the instructed work alone will not resolve the wider issue.

About the ASCP26 Awards
The ASCP Safety & Compliance Awards recognise work across housing safety and compliance. The 2026 programme covers 15 categories, with the ceremony taking place on the evening of 8 September at ICC Newport as part of the ASCP26 Conference, Exhibition & Awards.
